Countdown to Hardy Heron

Lucian | Sunday, April 20, 2008

In case I’ve never mentioned it before, I use GNU/Linux on my home PC and my distribution of choice is Ubuntu. I have been using it exclusively for some 2 years now and it’s been great all the way.

The next release of Ubuntu is called Hardy Heron and is due very soon.

Normally, I can’t wait, but my PC will not be available for a while, so it will still be some time before I get to try it.
Anyone passing by who has already tried it, please leave some impressions. This will be a Long Term Support release and is supposed to be quite good.
